SKULL & CROSS BONES ring:
Most of my designs are created from imagination
However sometimes the source is actually simply a real thing.
This is the case for our classic 3/4 skull ^& cross bones ring
A few years ago a group of friiends and me stumbled upon an very old church and graveyard, It was getting dark and there was no one around. Then an old man walked just behind us pushing an old wooden wheelbarrow.We asked :"What is this place?"
He replied in what sounded like very ancient English and very, very gravelly low voice,something along these lines:
"Ho! you don't want to know, really bad things happened here!"
My friends and I looked at each other , as we were all very surprised at his sudden apparition, and even more so with his strange reply.
When we turned back towards him , He was no longer there
None of us saw him walk away...Make want you want of this....
This is 100% true story,
Anyway back to the skull ring. As we were walking among the tombstones I stepped on a raised stone: It was covered in mud.
With a wooden stick I took the mud off and it was a stone carving of the skull and bones. I was compelled to recreate that design
We later found out the place was West Wycombe

LIMITED EDITION WOLF RING ( CLIFF BURTON’S WOLF RING)
The last time I spoke to Cliff Burton (Metallica’s bass player) was towards the end of 1986.
Cliff and the band were in London and as usual I met up with Cliff one afternoon.
He had been wearing my wolf ring for quite some time and it started to look a little battle scarred.
Cliff spotted a new skull ring that I was wearing and asked me if he could try it on. 
Cliff took his wolf ring off and I handed it my new skull ring.
He said: “I trade you “I just laughed, Cliff again insisted “Straight swap? “ I was amused at his cheekiness but to me Cliff was no longer just a customer we had become friends. So I finally said OK and we traded rings.
Very sadly, only a few days later, I heard the terrible news. Cliff had passed.
Cliff’s wolf ring is still with me to this day, exactly in the same condition as the day he took it off his finger. It is my fondest reminder of Cliff.
Since then many Metallica’s fans have wanted to see Cliff’s wolf ring in person and with pleasure
I always obliged. Despite a lot of interest, understandingly Cliff’s wolf ring is simply “Not for sale”
However, the next best thing is now available as a strictly Limited Edition run of 50 pieces.
This Limited Edition ring is an exact replica of Cliff Burton’s wolf ring.
It was created by making a high quality mold of Cliff’s actual wolf ring.
Then cast in silver with all wear and tear left on as on the original.
We also have carefully recreated the “Road worn” finish to replicate years on the road.

ARLINGTON TEXAS GUITAR SHOW 
17th and 18th of October 2015.
Yes this is the BIG ONE! and GUITAR EXP will officially be launched during the two day event.
10 000 guitars and 10 000 visitors expected.
Various publications are already lined up to get a first glimpse at the contents of GUITAR EXP.
The two versions of GUITAR EXP box set will be available to buy
at the stand: The regular DE LUXE version and a few copies of the COLLECTOR's SUPER DELUXE limited edition ( 250 copies only worldwide).
Anyone buying at the show will save the cost of shipping as these
books weight 5 Kg, so quite pricey to ship.

Just got back from Texas Arlington guitar show where GUITAR EXP was first shown to the public. Tom Van Hoose ( author of he Gibson super 400) was first in line to buy a copy of GUITAR EXP. Two different Television crew ( one from UK and one from USA) also filmed the launch of the book. Many Guitar and book collectors took an intense look at the contents and purchase the book and at least three Guitar magazines will also be reviewing GUITAR EXP in forthcoming publications. In the meantime www.guitar-exp.com has been busy taking worldwide orders . There is no need to Pre order because we have GUITAR-EXP in stock and are now shipping all new orders within a week.Thanks to all our customers at Arlington.
